Nerd News and Great Moments in Higher Education: Harvard Math Professor Says Flying Carpets are Possible

Ummmm . . . yeah.

Maybe it'd be easier just to read "The Arabian Nights" or watch Disney's "Aladdin," which has a flying carpet with personality. 

Oooo, oooooh!  Wait!  I have an idea!  Maybe this Harvard prof can get an enormous pile of research grant money if he simply says he's working on flying carpets as an alternative to fossil fuels.  Prevent global warming!  Save Gaia!
