Milosevic Dead

The Butcher of the Balkans is dead.

That war crimes trial of his was still in full swing, of course, a neverending parade of processes and procedures, with Milosevic turning it into his own personal soapbox.  Scrappleface take a shot at the entire structure with his latest satire: "Milosevic Death Won't Slow War Crimes Trial."

Justice delayed is justice denied.  He managed to die before getting convicted of 66 counts of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity --  terms that simply can't quite express the horrors he unleashed.

All the same, I'm pretty sure Milosevic can't escape the verdict of history.
