Ice Cream Journal: Part 1 Plus Quirky Asia Files: Weird Japanese Ice Cream
OK, I have an idea. Every time I run off to get ice cream, I'll note it here.
It will be lots of summertime fun . . . plus maybe the act of posting all my caloric exploits will encourage/shame me into eating less ice cream (though probably not).
This afternoon's flavors? (1) lemon meringue and (2) strawberry cheesecake.

And what about the "Quirky Asia Files" part of this post? Take a look at the many strange flavors of Japanese ice cream. Listen, I like green tea ice cream, but . . . Soy sauce flavor? Miso ramen flavor? How about squid, shark's fin, or seaweed? Well, it could be worse. I am willing to wager that neither you nor I will ever, EVER decide that snake-flavored ice cream will be worth trying. No, really, I'm not making this up. Snake-flavored ice cream. That's hisssss-terical. Uh . . . I think I prefer chocolate, please.
