France: Crushing Demonstrations Against Chinese Human Rights Violations?

Despicable.  If it's true -- I did see it on the rather ... er ... biased No Pasaran. Here's another report on it.

Is France really forbidding people in France from demonstrating against China's rampant human rights violations?  Ugh.  It's one thing for China to crush protesters in China.  But this is something else entirely.

As for the execrable de Villepin, he's still saying that the EU should lift its arms embargo against China.  Go back to writing poetry, Dominique.
