A gentle blog reader sent me this link, and I absolutely must share with everyone. It is hilariously funny! (Xie-xie, Don!)
Here is a little background information for this sublimely funny musical video. It's done by some talented graduate (MBA) students in business, economics, and finance at Columbia. They're poking fun at their dean, who was not chosen to be the new head of the Federal Reserve after the colossus Alan Greenspan retired. In the video, economics expert Dean Hubbard is singing bitterly about how that job went instead to Ben Bernanke. Enjoy!
Yes, Columbia is an Ivy League rival school, but I must say, these Columbia students are totally fantastic. It's hard to be in graduate school and still keep a sense of humor, so let's applaud these hardworking business students!
(And when you see the singing Asian-American female grad student, you can think of me! *grin* This kind of fun is exactly the sort of thing I love -- and would do if I had enough colleagues willing to help out.)
I watched this video 3 or 4 times, and I just laughed and laughed and laughed. It's all even better since I love Sting! Bravo, Columbia MBA folks!
